   My wife and myself are both Veterans. I tend to wear a cap or hat but my wife not so much but when we go camping, visiting one of our great nation’s national park, hiking, fishing and so on she does. The one thing we both have in common as her branch of service was engineering and my medical is we both have DD214’s.Some times it takes a moment or so when we are wearing this cap before you see the another Vet catch on and that smile and a conversation starts.It can be a conversation starter even with non Veterans.The cap seems well made the embroidery appears to be excellent, we’ll get many years out of these caps.

   I can’t tell you how happy and overjoyed I am to receive such a beautiful and superior item. It fits great and everything is actually sown on and not a ironed on patch. Great job guys… well done.

   Stitching isn’t prominent. In the pictures, the lettering, ribbon, and stars look bold. In real life, there’s clearly less stitching. Any embroidery where you can see through it, to behind the stitching, is poorly done. It’s like going from Arial Black font to Arial normal font. Downgraded.Hat is made with cheap “100% acrylic” material. That means when you eventually wash the hat, it’ll turn into a limp noodle, lose all it’s form, and look silly on your head. Adjustable velcro strap in the back that’s completely blank also. Would’ve been nice to see “Veteran” embroidered on it at least.Lastly, it’s made in China. Enough said right there. A “US Veteran” hat, made in another country? How embarrassing. Now, I don’t know if the hat is made in China and the embroidery is done in the US, but either way. If you’re promoting a US hat, use US products.Cool concept and slogan, but it’s a monstrously overpriced money grab. $27 dollars is way overpriced for an extremely basic hat of this quality and what you’re actually receiving above.I definitely don’t recommend. I feel scammed. Save your money.

   I saw adds for these caps and liked the message of being a DD214 recipient. Most of the caps I have purchased had a bill on them that were curved in such a way that it cut into my forehead. But these caps are comfortable beyond measure. That is why I purchased two of them, in case I ever lost one, I have another ready to wear.
