The overall size of the pin is small, but the Coast Guard emblem is even harder to make out. You certainly would not know what it said if you didn’t know what you ordered. It was a gift, so I kept it but I would not reorder again. Should increase the size of the pin to allow for better quality.

a little smaller then i thought it would be but very lovely and well built

It’s smaller than I would have expected, but no worries. I stuck it through the bill of my snapback hat and now i have a nice looking pin for my hat. It only having one fastener would/did cause some issues with it spinning in circles on my vest, double pinned fasteners would not have that problem. The bill of my hat is thick, you have to actually spin it by finger for it to move. The coloring is bright and definitely made well.
